INGREDIENTS:
150ml skimmed milk
150ml water
110g self-raising flour
2 Weetabix
110g sultanas
1 teaspoon mixed spice
15g artificial sweetener
1 egg, beaten
METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4.
Put the Weetabix and sultanas in a bowl. Pour the milk and water over the top and leave to soak up all the liquid.
Stir in the flour, mixed spice, sweetener and beaten egg.
Spoon the mixture into a 450g lined loaf tin and bake in the preheated oven for 1¼ hours, until cooked.
Cool on a wire rack before serving, then cut into 12 slices.

You can also snack to satisfy your hunger between meals.
In addition, you are encouraged to consume metered quantities of certain foods known as ‘Healthy Supplements’, which provide the necessary nutrients for a healthy, balanced diet.
These include milk and cheese (for calcium) and whole-grain cereals and bread (for fibre and minerals).
To avoid feeling deprived, you can consume limited amounts of treats that contain more calories and are less filling, such as chocolate, crisps and alcohol.
