Ingredients:
40 g basic oats, blended in a food processor *7 syns if not using as a Healthy Extra B
1 small egg
2 tbsp sukrin gold sweetener
1 tsp low fat margarine 1.5 syns
Pinch salt
1/2 tsp baking power 0.25 syns
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp Sweet Freedom Choc (OPTIONAL) additional 1 syn if using
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180°C.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the low-fat margarine for 10 seconds in the microwave.
In a mixing bowl or mini food processor, combine the blended oats, egg, sukrin gold sweetener, melted margarine, salt, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and Sweet Freedom Choc (if using). Mix everything together until well combined.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Spoon 8 teaspoons of the cookie mixture onto the tray, making sure to space them apart. Use the back of a spoon to flatten each cookie slightly.
Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are slightly golden.
Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool for a couple of minutes. Then, gently transfer them to a cooling rack.
If desired, top the cookies with choc shot before enjoying.
