Ingredients:

2 pounds of raw ground turkey breast (99% lean)

2 tablespoons of McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning

2 medium-sized carrots, finely minced (Consider using a food processor or chopper)

8 ounces of white mushrooms, finely minced (Consider using a food processor or chopper)

2 medium yellow onions, finely minced (Consider using a food processor or chopper)

3 cloves of garlic, finely minced

2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

3 cups of water

2 cans (15 ounces each) of tomato sauce

1 can (14.5 ounces) of petite diced tomatoes

¼ cup of tomato paste

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

12 ounces of uncooked pasta shells

Instructions:

Lightly coat a large Dutch oven or soup pot with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat.

Add the 99% lean ground turkey breast to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon or spatula. Sprinkle the McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning over the turkey and stir thoroughly. Cook until the turkey is completely cooked and broken into small pieces.

Incorporate the minced carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce into the pot. Stir everything together and cook for about 5 minutes, occasionally stirring until the veggies soften.

Add water, tomato sauce, petite diced tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper to the pot. Stir well to blend all the ingredients.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and allow it to simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Introduce the uncooked pasta shells to the pot and stir until they are thoroughly coated with the sauce. Cover the pot again and let it simmer for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through.

Remove the pot from heat and give the pasta a final stir. Allow it to sit uncovered for 15 minutes before serving, allowing the flavours to meld together.

Serve the Healthy Turkey Sloppy Joe Pasta from Slimming World and savour a delightful and wholesome meal.
